good & sweet
pure fresh fruit, no nonsense added
Honest and transparent
Yogi & Yousef was born out of friendship. Having direct ties between the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia allows us to oversee the entire process ourselves - from palm tree to your local supermarket. In Saudi Arabia, we work side-by-side with our farmers, visiting every farm in person before starting a partnership. We prioritize fair wages and safe working conditions. On top of all that, from harvest to package, all our dates are processed naturally, without any unnecessary steps or chemical additives.
No waste
We believe great food should not be wasted. Looks aren’t everything, dates with a few imperfections, for instance, can be turned into our delicious date syrup. We also use biodegradable materials whenever possible. And when it comes to the packing of our snack and retail boxes we partner with a social, inclusive enterprise. Together we can make a difference, one small and delicious date at a time. No Waste, more Good.
Dates or bananas

Discover fresh dates as your new everyday fruit. They have a melt-in-the-mouth texture, a caramel-like sweetness and are 100% pure nature. They are also packed with fibre and nutrients, in short, a fantastic piece of fruit for every day.
Fresh or dried dates?
As you might know, at Yogi & Yousef we only sell the most delicious fresh dates. But what actually sets fresh dates apart from dried dates? To start with, you can see dried and fresh dates as completely different foods. Think of grapes and raisins. Both are delicious but completely different in taste, texture, nutritional value and sugar levels. Discover why we only sell fresh Dalia Sukkary dates and why they are a true celebration of fruit!
Our Dalia Sukkary dates
Our Dalia Sukkary dates are naturally soft, smooth and have a rich caramel sweetness. Because of their high natural moisture content, they even give you a melt-in-the-mouth sensation. When dates are dried, they lose this softness, becoming firmer and more chewy. They can also lose their caramel-like flavour and begin to taste a bit more like sugar. Dried dates can be stored much longer outside of the refrigerator, which is a big advantage. But if you are looking for dates with the most delicious and rich flavour and a softest and most creamy texture, fresh dates are definitely the way to go!
Nature’s ultimate sweet treat for kids
Dalia Sukkary dates are a surprisingly good sweet treat for your kids. Naturally soft and with a rich caramel-like taste, they let your kids eat fruit that feels like candy!
Beyond their delicious sweet flavour, dates are also packed with many other benefits. Full of fibre, they support a healthy gut while giving steady energy, without the sugar spikes of processed food. Plus, their small packaging makes them super easy to take with you on a family trip and fitting perfectly into every lunchbox. The perfect sweet treat for every moment - nature’s own candy.
Simple yet indulgently rich
Foodies have an instinct for extraordinary flavours, and Dalia Sukkary dates definitely fit right in. Fresh dates might appear small, simple and a bit sticky. But taste them properly and you will discover their true depth and complexity. Depending on the variety, they reveal rich notes of caramel, honey, nuts or subtle herbs. For a true foodie, dates are far more than a simple snack. They are a premium characterful ingredient.
In modern cuisine, dates have broken free from tradition. They serve as a natural sweetener, add a sweet and savoury contrast to salads, or feature on a charcuterie board matched with cheese and nuts. Their soft and creamy texture also makes them a staple in plant-based cooking, used in all kinds of pastries to energy balls.
Above all, foodies will appreciate that dates are not only really delicious but also carry a sense of heritage. Cultivated in warm and dry climates, they have been part of culinary traditions for thousands of years in the Middle East and Northern Africa. Cooking with dates connects you directly to that history.
Perhaps this is why the story of dates continues. They appear simple but are also so amazingly rich in taste and character.
