All our dates are grown with the utmost care. Sustainable and with nothing unnecessary added. Thanks to our direct partnership between the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia, we oversee the entire process ourselves.
But if all our dates are grown with great care, then what's the difference between our organic and conventional dates? This is a question we get asked a lot, and we'd be more than happy to answer.
Organic dates
The main difference comes down to certification. Our organic dates have an official organic label and meaning they meet all the additional requirements that come with it. To be able to sell certified organic products, every company involved in growing or handling those dates is monitored by an independent authority. There are annual inspections and a certificate to prove the products are genuinely organic. All of these steps and regulations come with additional costs, which is one of the reasons our organic dates cost a little more.
Conventional dates
Our conventional dates are also grown with great care. However, we can never 100% guarantee that they are completely pesticide-free. That said, we always test all of our dates, and we're happy to say we consistently find little to no traces. Above all, every date we sell is grown with love, as pure and honest as possible. Pure fresh fruit, without any unnecessary additives. Naturally sweet, just as it should be!
